PRR Catenary

Catenary of this type is still used today,
on the former PRR tracks, from New York to Washington DC, and from Philadelphia to Harrisburg PA.
The uprights are steel I-beams, and extend upwards to carry a set of high-tension wires.
Milwaukee Road catenary

This catenary was used on the Milwaukee
Road's electrified zones in Montana and Washington State. The poles are creosoted timber,
because timber is plentiful in the area of this line.
Trackbed

A simple ballasted trackbed, should be
"tileable" horizontally.
